"Echoes of Time"

This painting was born out of the place where I learned to stop and look at how time manages us, slowly, through moments where I caught myself running forward. I used to think that thinking about the future, planning, trying to understand what will be – that is what gives security, but with time I realized that this race is actually an escape from the only thing we truly have, from the present.

For many years I saw how my thoughts wandered to what hasn’t happened yet, trying to fix tomorrow, and inside all that noise I felt that something was getting lost. This painting came out of a desire to bring the echoes of time into this very moment, without sugarcoating, without rushing, simply agreeing to meet what is here now.

When I worked on its layers, I didn't try to reach a certain result and I didn't look for solutions. Every color, every texture, and every movement that entered the canvas was like the passing years, like the memories and worries we collect along the way. The great light created in the center of the painting didn't come from planning, it was revealed from within only when I agreed to let go of the future, to stop controlling reality, and to stay true to the place that feels and breathes here and now.

There is a movement in this painting of a heart learning not to fear the passing of time. It shows that the future is not some distant destination to conquer, but something built only out of our ability to be present in this very moment, with all the depth and softness inside it.

This is a painting about the silence that is revealed when we stop chasing tomorrow. It is an invitation to listen to the echoes of time, not out of urgency or lack, but out of a full agreement to stay inside this presence, because right there, in the most simple and exposed place, lies the true connection to life ♡
