"Without Attachment"

This painting was born out of a profound moment of agreeing to let go of everything and release attachment. For many years I caught myself trying to hold on, to the stories I told myself, to the familiar patterns, to the constant need to control reality and know exactly what the next step is. I used to think that holding on is security, that knowing and managing everything is what protects me, but with time I realized that this effort to hold tight is actually what contracts the heart and prevents life from simply flowing through me.

This canvas came out of an exposed encounter with the question, who am I when I agree to drop everything, stop fixing, and remain only with the pure presence of what is?

When I started working on it, I left the desire to achieve a result and the need to prove something outside the studio. The great white that spreads across most of the painting is not emptiness, it is a space of absolute freedom from labels and thoughts. It is the place where the old story is erased and the consciousness clears. I did not try to sugarcoat, I did not try to hide the texture that appears in the lower part, this texture is the earth, the weight of matter, everything that holds us here. As the painting goes up, the layers become clearer, become more released.

Every touch of warm mustard and soft pinkness that rises out of the white is revealed out of a clean listening, these are the natural sparks of creation that happens on its own the moment we stop interfering with it. These are the moments of intuition and vitality that are revealed only when the hands release the rope and the heart remains completely open, out of full trust in what wants to rise.

This painting is not a search for an external solution, it is a testament to the inner freedom that is revealed when we stop chasing tomorrow or holding onto yesterday. It is an invitation to agree to enter this clean space, to drop the effort, and to remain inside this presence, because right there, in the place where there is no attachment at all, lies the deepest, most stable and infinite connection to life ♡
