Each fragment composing the sky is a testament to a moment of rupture —
a phase, an experience, a dream.
That feeling when everything seems to fall apart, when there’s no clear path ahead,
and reality feels like scattered pieces floating in space without direction.
But it’s exactly in those places — where loss feels absolute —
that the true potential for growth is revealed.
The fragments in the painting aren’t just remnants of collapse —
they are raw material for something new.
The contrasting colors and layered textures symbolize how, from within the chaos,
the sky begins to reassemble itself — patch by patch, into something whole and unique.
A deep part of the inspiration came from moments spent watching clouds reflected in trembling water.
A reflection so fragile, almost unreal
and yet, it connects heaven and earth.
That reflection taught me that even what feels broken is still part of the bigger picture
and that beauty is not in perfection, but in seeing the whole within the broken pieces.
Working on this painting felt like an inner journey.
Each layer, each color, was like the act of mending a fracture
not to fix it, but to make it part of the story.
I came to understand that every break is a new space
an opening where light can enter,
like windows forming where walls once stood.
"Fragments of Sky" is an invitation to look again at the broken places in our lives
not as failures, but as opportunities.
A quiet call to believe that even when it feels like the sky has fallen
it can always come back together,
in a new form that’s even more true to who we are becoming.
