“Old Thoughts”

This artwork is a testament to an eternal dialogue taking place within each of us. It does not attempt to represent an external object, but rather to capture the vibration of a thought, one that is deep, perhaps even older than we are.

Most of the time we are busy categorizing reality through layers of defense, having paid a heavy price to build ourselves a strong shield that protects us from turmoil, disappointments, or inner judgment. But this cover we built for ourselves is not something that stays permanent. Over time it changes, wears down, slowly peels away, and leaves room for something new to be revealed.

I chose shades of gold, rich ochre, and soft white out of precise inner alignment, a deep layer of being that already exists within us and asks to burst out the moment we stop hiding it. In contrast, the soft and delicate white represents the healing and compassion required to agree to stay in the moment, let go of old mechanisms, and allow these thoughts to clarify anew.

When looking at this artwork, it invites you to stop and understand that an old thought does not have to be yours, perhaps it comes from the past and you adopted it because at that time it served you.

It reminds you that there is no need to fight the noise of the mind, simply lower its volume and agree to listen to the whisper of the soul that guides us to the paths that are most right for us.
