The Story Behind the Painting
This piece was born out of listening to our inner process of growth. We sometimes tend to think that meaningful change must come with a big storm or drama, but most of the true changes in life actually happen in small steps, with a quiet breath, and through a gradual expansion of the heart.
I chose the gentle shades of soft peach, green, and gold alongside touches of black and white to give expression to this space of growth. The green and gold bring with them the renewal, hope, and vitality opening up within us. In contrast, the peach and white tones create a wrapped space of compassion and softness, and the dark touches remind me of the depth and grounding that hold the entire process.
Every stroke of paint and every layer revealed required me to stay in the moment, not to rush toward the outcome, but to let the colors and the roughness of the textures expand at their own natural pace.
This artwork invites you to pause, stop pushing yourself, and make room for the quiet evolution happening within you.
It serves as a daily reminder that when we agree to stay in softness and listen to our soul, true and wondrous expansion happens all on its own ♡
