"Open Book"

There are moments in life when something inside us opens.
Not by force, not through a dramatic decision, but like a book left open on the table, without trying to close it.
This painting was born from that place, a place where there is no longer a need to hide, and no need to protect.

The layers of color move between softness and strength, between transparency and erasure. There are areas that feel exposed, almost bare, and others that are covered, blurred, as if their time to be revealed has not yet come. Like a life story, not everything is written in a clear sequence. There are sentences that break off, pages that wrinkle, and words that remain suspended between the lines.

The blues and turquoise bring breath, water, movement. They do not ask where they are going, they simply flow. Alongside them appear warmer, gentler tones that carry memory, experience, something that once was and still asks for a place. Each layer is a moment, a choice, a small truth that surfaced and then disappeared beneath another layer.

Open Book is not a finished story.
It is an invitation.
To look, to feel, to find within the painting the places that are open right now, and those still waiting to open.
Without the need to understand everything, just to be with what arises.
