"Without knowing where"

This painting was born from a place with nothing to hold onto, a moment where something inside already understands that the old path has ended, but the new one hasn’t appeared yet, and it feels like standing between worlds, not knowing where you’re going and not being able to go back.

There are moments like this in life, when logic no longer knows how to lead, when all the answers that once felt solid no longer hold, and that’s where fear begins, because we are used to knowing, used to controlling, used to feeling safe through certainty, and suddenly it’s gone, there’s just a kind of quiet, and an inner voice asking us to listen.

When I started this painting, I didn’t know where I was going, I didn’t try to understand, I simply agreed to be there, inside the unknown, and every movement that came through was a response to the moment, not a plan, not an attempt to reach a result, but a choice to stay open, even when it felt unstable.

Slowly, something began to take shape, not because I knew, but because I let go of the need to know, and that’s where the real shift happened, because when I stop holding on, something else enters, something deeper, something that doesn’t come from thought, but from a place that feels.

“Without Knowing Where” is a painting about that moment, about agreeing to stay within uncertainty without rushing to solve it, about trusting the inner voice even when it doesn’t explain, and understanding that the most aligned path doesn’t always come through understanding, but through listening.

This painting is an invitation to release the need for control, to allow yourself not to know, and to discover that דווקא there, a new path begins to open, one that could not have been created in any other way, a path that starts from within and leads step by step ♡
