"Layers of a Rainbow"

This painting was born from the understanding that I am not one thing, and I am not meant to be, I carry layers, colors, periods, states, contradictions, softness and strength, silence and noise, a past that lives within me and a present that asks for space, like a rainbow I am made of many shades existing together, not to impress, not to explain, simply because this is who I am

For many years I tried to reduce myself, to fit into a template, to choose one color and hide the rest, to be clear, consistent, understood, yet something always felt missing, only when I agreed to be all that I am, what is comfortable and what is not, what I have lived through and what is still unfolding, did a quiet appear, not a quiet of giving up, but a quiet of acceptance

Layers of a Rainbow speaks about the possibility of being complex without apologizing, not enlarging myself by force, but also not shrinking, allowing each layer to exist, without erasing the previous one and without rushing to define the next, understanding that there is no need to choose a single identity in order to be worthy of love, recognition, presence

And in that moment, when I accept everything that I am, with all of my past, without beautifying and without hiding, something shifts outward as well, acceptance returns as reflection, people meet me as I truly am, not the image, this painting is a reminder that wholeness is not found in uniformity, but in the harmony between all the layers, a complete rainbow, precisely because of its multiplicity
