The Story Behind the Painting
There are moments in life when it feels like every door closes. You walk a road that seems right, you give your heart, your energy, your hope, and then something stops. The door you were sure would open simply does not, and with each one that stays closed, the heart tightens a little, losing just a bit more faith.
I have been there too, in a season when things did not flow the way I imagined, when effort did not bring the outcome I hoped for. Instead of pushing harder, I chose to pause, to let go of the need to understand, and to allow life to breathe through me.
It was in that quiet space between disappointment and surrender that something new began to move. A door I never expected slowly opened, softly, without warning. And when I looked back, I realized that everything I thought had ended was actually creating space for something better. Disappointments became the soil for growth, and endings turned into invitations for beginnings that felt more real.
The painting New Path was born from that space. It speaks about the ability to see beyond what seems like an ending, to notice the seed that is already sprouting beneath the surface. The green tones carry renewal and hope, the light colors bring breath and openness, and the earthy layers remind us to stay grounded as we begin again.
Sometimes, for a door to open, we only need to release what we thought was meant for us and trust life to guide us on a new path, one we never planned but that was always meant to be ours.
This painting is an invitation to remember that every ending is only a beginning in disguise, and that even when one door closes, another is already waiting for us to notice it.
