“Pearl״

When I think about a pearl in the sea, I think about something precious that exists deep within.

Not on the surface, not in the loud and visible places, but in the depths.

A pearl is formed inside an oyster, through a quiet and long process that happens far from the eye. Layer upon layer, slowly, until something rare is created.

There is something very special about the way a pearl is formed. It is not created from perfection, but דווקא from a tiny grain that enters inside.

Something that disturbs, that creates friction. In response, the oyster begins to wrap it in delicate layers, again and again, until slowly something precious and beautiful is formed.

Something that turns that small grain into a treasure.

When I painted this piece, I thought about our consciousness. Within us too there is depth, layers, places we do not always reach in our daily lives.

Most of the time we live on the surface of the water, inside the noise, the thoughts, and everything that happens outside of us.

We are busy with what needs to be done, with what is expected of us, with everything happening around us.

But when we allow ourselves to pause for a moment, to breathe, and to dive a little deeper within, a completely different world reveals itself. A quieter world, a deeper one, something that is not always visible from the outside.

Within these depths, things begin to appear that we had not noticed before.

Thoughts, emotions, insights. Layers of ourselves.

And within all of this lies our true treasure. Like a pearl in the sea, there is also a precious point within our consciousness, a point of truth, of inner wisdom, something pure and authentic waiting to be discovered.

Sometimes it is formed precisely through those moments of friction, of questions, of searching. Through the places where we grow and evolve.

This painting, for me, is a reminder that the treasure we are looking for is not far away from us, but deep within us.

And sometimes all it takes is to pause the movement on the surface of the water, take a deep breath, and dive inward.

There, in the quiet, the pearl is waiting♡
