The Story Behind the Painting
The painting “Open Spaces” was created from a deep longing for the boundless sense of freedom that wide landscapes and nature offer.
For me, the core idea behind this piece was to bring forth the inspiration that comes from places without borders —
where the horizon opens, and suddenly, everything feels possible.
Working on this painting felt almost meditative.
I imagined myself in wide open fields, surrounded by shades of blue and soft pink, blending together like sky and sea meeting at a distant horizon.
The sense of movement in the painting comes from thoughts of gentle winds, flowing water, and the softness of where earth meets sky.
This painting carries the feeling of calm that exists in vast spaces —
a release from limitations, a balance between motion and stillness.
It’s not just a physical landscape, but an internal one as well —
a place to retreat from the noise, to be fully present, and to reconnect with our true essence.
“Open Spaces” is an expression of freedom —
a visual reflection of the ease and lightness that come when we surrender to the natural flow of life.
It invites the viewer to take a deep breath, let go of what weighs them down,
and step into a world of peace, expansion, and new possibilities.
