The Story Behind the Painting
"Roots of Awareness" was born from the understanding that awareness is not something that appears in a single moment. Like a tree, it grows from deep roots hidden beneath the surface. Most of the time we only see the crown, what rises above the ground, yet it is the roots that hold, nourish, and allow everything above to exist.
While painting, I felt I was touching the deepest layers of my own consciousness, the places the eyes cannot see but the heart knows well. Each sweep of color felt like digging inward, revealing another layer, another fine line of understanding. The soft blue tones wrap everything in quiet, reminding me of the inner space where thoughts settle and become clear.
The deep blue at the center is the core, the place where all threads, feelings, and thoughts gather. From it, new insights grow, and from it comes the ability to see with clarity. The light that surrounds it is the space where the mind breathes, expands, and allows the roots to reach deeper still.
"Roots of Awareness" is a reminder that every true inner movement begins beneath the surface. When we invest in the roots, in foundations, in listening, in reflection, everything we build above becomes stronger, steadier, and full of life.
