The Story Behind the Painting🖌️

This painting was born from a moment when I no longer had the strength to hold on, not to control, not to the stories, and not to the image I thought I needed to be.

It wasn’t a moment of breaking, but a quieter one, where something inside simply agreed to let go.

For years we carry layers, beliefs, fears, voices of others, memories that were never fully processed, each layer protects but also hides.

When I stood in front of the canvas I wasn’t trying to create something beautiful, I was simply allowing what was there to come through.

There is a movement in this painting between chaos and softness, between the need to understand and the willingness to let things be.

The rough areas reflect where I was still holding on, and the softer ones where something began to open.

The gold appears like quiet moments of clarity, and the grey creates space, a place where nothing needs to be defined.

This painting is about trust, about being inside a process without needing to know where it leads♡
