Story behind the painting
Sometimes the greatest longing isn't for a person or a place โ
but for a true home within ourselves.
A place where we can rest our breath,
where we don't have to change, chase, or explain anything.
A place where simply being is enough.
When I approached this painting, I was searching for that kind of home.
Not walls or structures โ but ground.
A quiet, living space inside me where I could belong to myself.
I let the colors guide me, moving without trying to control,
allowing each layer to unfold naturally.
Stroke after stroke, breath after breath,
something within me began to settle โ not through thought, but through feeling.
Home Within was not built through effort โ it revealed itself through surrender.
It showed me that sometimes,
we don't need to chase after home in the outside world โ
we need only to pause, to soften, and to find it already alive inside us.
