The Story Behind the Painting🖌️
In this painting every movement reminds me of a bird in flight. One chooses to soar quickly ahead another drifts sideways and some remain slightly behind. Each line carries its own personal journey yet together they form a flock a harmonious motion greater than the details themselves.
The repeating lines are not just strokes of color they are like thoughts and emotions rising and moving within me. At times they contradict one another at times they distance themselves and at times they draw close and breathe together. It is in this multiplicity that depth is born an inner movement that longs for freedom telling a story not of a single moment but of an entire life.
When I gaze at this painting I feel that life is much like such a flock. Each of us is a separate line filled with our own colors yet there is always something that connects us carrying us through the same space. Perhaps it is the wind perhaps it is time or perhaps it is simply the knowing that even in my personal journey I am never truly alone.
This painting is an invitation to remember that freedom not to fear movement or change of direction to be part of the flow simply to allow the wind to carry us onward.
