"Being With It"

There are moments when there is nowhere to run, not from the pain, not from the silence, not from the loneliness. Moments when every attempt to understand or change gently dissolves, and all that remains is what is. Within that quiet, a gentle healing begins to unfold. It does not come from effort or from trying to fix, but from the simple willingness to stay — to stay with what hurts, with what is unclear, with what asks for attention.

Being with it is an invitation to stop the struggle, to stop searching for answers, and to begin listening. Listening to what is within, to the breath, to the rhythm of the heart. There, beneath the layers of fear, judgment, and old patterns, softness is revealed. That is where the true meeting with ourselves takes place — without defenses, without masks, without the need to be someone else.

And when we are truly there, something softens. We discover that it is possible to love even what is difficult, to forgive what we once thought we could not, and to experience freedom not through escape but through acceptance. This is the space from which this painting was born, from an honest encounter with what is, just as it is.
