The Story Behind the Painting

"Twist in the Plot" was born from one of those moments 
the kind you don’t see coming, don’t plan for,
but somehow, it shifts everything.

The day started like any other, unfolding as expected,
until something unexpected happened — something that turned the entire story around.
It reminded me: life isn’t always written in advance.
And sometimes, the most powerful changes arrive in the least expected moments.

As I sat in front of the canvas, my body still held the surprise, the confusion,
the need to understand what had just shifted.
And yet, something inside me also felt excited 
because within the unknown,
a quiet doorway opened to a new way of seeing things.

I thought about all the times life rewrote my plans 
not because I did something wrong,
but because I was being invited to grow.

I chose colors that reflect contrast and motion 
a bold orange, full of energy and courage,
alongside a soft, open turquoise that brings lightness, clarity, and the promise of something new.
They don’t naturally belong to the same world —
but together, they create movement, surprise, harmony.
Like two emotions coexisting: fear and excitement, pain and hope.

While painting, I realized this wasn’t just a story about change 
it was about choice.
The choice to hold on to what was, or to allow myself to explore what could be.

"Twist in the Plot" is a reminder
that life doesn’t always follow the lines we’ve drawn for it 
but within every unexpected turn,
there is the possibility to discover something new within ourselves.

It invites us not to fear the unknown,
but to meet it with curiosity,
as a chance to grow, expand,
and reconnect with our inner strength.

Because sometimes, the moment we think we’ve lost our path —
is the moment we’ve actually found it.
