I painted this work for a client named Sandra, who lives in Misgav. She approached me with a wish to bring a sense of calm, quiet, and softness into her home, a space that allows you to breathe and truly feel at ease.
During the process, I listened to what she was seeking beyond words. Not something dramatic or dominant, but a quiet presence, a gentle continuity of movement that holds the space without overwhelming it. The painting was built layer by layer, guided by a slow, relaxed rhythm, one that doesn’t demand attention but gently invites calm.
There is a flow in this piece that continues naturally, like a steady breath, without a clear beginning or end. The colors, transitions, and textures were chosen to create an embracing atmosphere, one that allows for a pause, an inward turn, and a sense of serenity.
