The Story Behind the Painting
This painting was born from a space that lies on the edge —
no longer part of the old world, not yet anchored in the new.
It captures that fragile in-between —
the pause between two breaths, the moment where anything is possible but nothing is defined.
It’s the feeling of standing on the threshold — of almost.
While creating it, I wasn’t trying to understand or control.
I let the colors lead, let the lines open,
as if they knew the way better than I did.
There was a quiet knowing — that what I was painting
was not a place, but a state of being.
A shadow of memory, a whisper of what’s to come,
a soft movement between reality and dream.
The colors came from emotion — not quite silence, but not a storm either.
A different kind of frequency, subtle and delicate — like touching light through water.
It felt like that moment before choosing to move forward,
or the breath where you realize something has ended but you don’t yet know what will begin.
The lines stretch and blur, marking boundaries —
not fixed or rigid, but passable, if only we dare.
They ask us to release —
not to who we were, and not to who we think we need to become.
This is an invitation to simply be in the in-between.
To breathe into it, to not rush to know, and just feel.
Because it's there — in that undefined moment —
where we often meet our truest self.
This painting is a witness to such a moment.
One I didn’t try to control — only to listen.
This piece is an invitation to live with an open heart.
To remember that our personal space can reflect not only what our home looks like —
but also how it feels inside.
