Some paintings aren’t born from an idea – but from deep listening. Not to what I want to say, but to what’s quietly asking to come through. This was one of those rare moments where I didn’t guide my hand – I simply let it move, breathe, unfold.
The space in this painting didn’t arrive complete. It was built slowly, through soft, almost transparent layers. Each color felt like a passing thought. Each line – a fleeting reflection of a feeling, here for a moment and gone.
I didn’t feel like I was creating an image – I felt like I was opening a space. A space that doesn’t quite know what it is yet, but feels deeply. It holds tenderness, but also fragility. And something in it – just like life – is still in the middle of becoming.
This piece invites you to breathe into it. Not to analyze or define – but to simply be with it. It belongs to someone who’s willing to be in the process – not needing all the answers, just present with what is.
