This painting was born from a quiet space within me — a space where change doesn’t shout, it whispers. Where emotions don’t ask to be seen, but gently ask to be felt.
I wasn’t trying to express something specific. I simply allowed movement to happen — subtle, slow, almost invisible — but deeply alive. It felt like a soft current moving through me, like something unspoken finally finding space to breathe.
The forms that emerged reminded me of wings, of drifting thoughts, or inner parts of myself learning how to move differently. Each layer felt like another small release, another breath, a quiet yes to something waiting beneath the surface.
While painting, I realized something simple and powerful: The freedom I long for isn’t out there. It’s not a destination or a dramatic turning point. It begins within me — in every moment I allow myself to feel, to soften, to move without needing to know where it’s going.
