The story behind the artwork
This piece was born out of listening.
Listening inward – not to the noise around me, but to the subtle parts within.
The ones that sometimes whisper, sometimes shout, and sometimes simply wait for me to notice them.
Every figure in this painting isn’t someone else – it’s me.
Me, in all my different versions.
The one who dreams far, the one who gets hurt easily, the one who hides, and the one who fully surrenders.
It’s not a portrait – it’s a map of a life.
There are sharp angles like defenses, soft corners like longing, and confused expressions like the search for truth.
For a long time, I tried to “be one” – clear, unified, certain.
But the deeper I went, the more I discovered that beauty lies in the fragmentation.
In the complexity.
Some parts seek attention, some prefer to disappear, and some only show up when I’m truly quiet.
This artwork isn’t about fixing.
It’s not about making order.
It’s about giving space –
To look at each part of myself and accept it, one by one.
This piece invites the viewer to embrace wholeness – even when things are far from perfect. 🖤
