When I created "The Courage to Change," I felt like I was stepping into a shared journey with the couple who commissioned it.
They came with a clear vision for their home: a space that would radiate peace and connection — a steady ground for personal and family growth.
I immediately felt their energy, their love, and the softness they wished to bring into their space, and I was deeply moved by it.
I chose a color palette that was calm and gentle — soft tones with deeper accents that offered warmth while leaving room to breathe.
Each layer of paint was added with care, creating a rich texture that reflects both stability and openness, grounding and flow.
Throughout the process, I incorporated textures that evoke the feeling of earth — layers built one upon another, forming depth and subtlety at the same time.
I wanted the painting to feel like an anchor in their home: something that holds presence, yet gently invites movement and lightness.
With every brushstroke, I could feel their energy taking shape within the painting, as if the work was slowly coming to life — grounded, calm, and fully connected to the space around it.
The result was a piece that reflects not only their vision, but also the connection and trust that formed between us during the process.
