The Story Behind the Painting

This painting was born during a time when everything felt in motion — both inside and out.
I wasn’t exactly here, but not quite there either.
Not stuck, but not yet clear.
It was one of those transitional phases, where things begin to shift, but haven’t yet taken full form.

And that’s exactly what came through in this piece —
Layers built one over the other, colors rising, fading, hidden and returning —
like emotions that don’t ask to be defined, only to be felt.

There were moments in the process when I tried to “control” it — to direct it, to figure out where it was going.
But it was only when I let go of that need to know,
and allowed myself to dive into the color, the movement, the feeling —
that something true began to emerge.

This piece carries an energy that’s not fully resolved — and that’s exactly its beauty.
It holds a quiet confidence in the unknown.
It reminds me of the power that exists in simply being present in the process —
not rushing, not forcing, just allowing what’s meant to surface, to come.

This work is meant for someone who is in a space of growth, transition, or deep self-reflection.
It offers a calm, grounded space for open questions —
and brings a sense of presence that honors your own rhythm.
